- consider the pitfalls of interviewing
- look at what questions to use qualify the candidate’s experience, focussing on evidence based questions to draw out good quality information
- explore their motivation to move and identify what will make them take one role over another
- consider how to manage expectations to ensure the candidate has realistic goals
- look at how to manage unrealistic client expectations
- consider how to agree terms with a client effectively
- look at how to sell a role to a candidate and gain commitment from them
- consider how to sell candidates into a client
- identify how to prepare a candidate for a client interview
- consider how to manage the offer process, including dealing with the resignation and notice periods
- practice the above skills
- create a personal action plan
