Aim

The aim of this session is to provide career support to employees who may be facing redundancy, to help build confidence in their skills and form an action plan for an effective job search. It can be offered to your clients as a value added service and help set you part from your competitors.

Objective

During this module participants will have the opportunity to…

  • analyse their skill set and identify their strengths
  • look at how to complete an application form, draw up an effective CV and write a covering letter
  • identify key achievements in their previous roles and how best to present their experience
  • identify what interviewers look for in the selection process
  • look at the evidence based questioning technique used by interviewers
  • identify how to demonstrate evidence of their skills and experience in an interview
  • identify what to prepare for an interview
  • draw up an action plan to help them move forward

The session can be run for groups or on a one to one coaching basis.
