



Aim
The aim of this module is to explore how participants can be more creative in their business and to give them a chance to generate some new business ideas.
Objectives
During this module participants will have the opportunity to…
- consider what creativity is and why it is important in business
- identify the potential blocks to creative thinking and look at ways to break down limiting assumptions
- look at ways to free up their thinking
- use specific creative thinking techniques to generate new ideas
- present a new business idea for one of their clients
In between Days one and two delegates will have an opportunity to come up with and research an idea for a new piece of business. They will then present this to an “account director” on Day two.
The feedback will focus on the ideas and the creative approach, rather than presentation skills.
The event will be participative with a variety of training aids used to cater for the differing learning styles likely to be present in the group. Respecting the need for confidentiality delegates are invited to share their experiences in this area and to ask questions at any time.
