The aim of this session is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to be able to manage the performance of their team effectively and maximise their potential.

  • Identify how and why we need to develop staff    
  • Look at the importance of coaching in getting the best from an individual or team
  • Develop their skills as a coach
  • Consider how to run an effective appraisal

The event will be participative with a variety of training aids used to cater for the differing learning styles likely to be present in the group. Respecting the need for confidentiality delegates are invited to share their experiences in this area and to ask questions at any time.
