Aim
The aim of this workshop is to explore how change can be managed successfully and to the benefit of all those involved.
Objectives
During this workshop participants will have the opportunity to…
- Identify why change fails…and how to avoid the pitfalls!
- Identify what has changed in the world around them and what can be learnt from our reactions to these changes
- Identify how change is handled at present in the organisation
- Recognise the nature and impact of change and the characteristics of modern-day change

Identify the implications for change management
- Why so many people don’t like change and tend to resist it
- Understanding why some people are more likely to resist change than others

Identify what is needed to meet the change challenge…and win!
- Leading a successful change; planning change, championing change, countering resistance, implementation and post implementation
- Identifying what is needed and techniques to use at each stage

Identify forthcoming changes and how they can be managed
- Establishing plans to handle the changes
The event will be participative with a variety of training aids used to cater for the differing learning styles likely to be present in the group. Respecting the need for confidentiality delegates are invited to share their experiences in this area and to ask questions at any time.
