Overview

The Institute for Professional Administrators is the body for all Office Professionals. It supports its members in commerce, industry and education in the Public and Private sectors.

The Need

The Institute provides members with a range of services including support to develop their skills and knowledge in a range of areas applicable to their personal and professional lives.

The Solution

The support is provided in a number of ways including regular meetings and Conferences. Focal Point has been facilitating meetings for the Central London Branch of the Institute since 2000. The subjects we have discussed have included questioning and listening skills, giving and receiving feedback, time management, getting the work life balance right and managing stress.

Stella Chandler has also spoken at two National Conferences on the “Myths of Assertiveness” and “Continuing our personal and professional development”.

Anne Marks, the Central London Chairwoman for the last three years said
