Hunter Dunning is a recruitment company specialising in all aspects of the architectural market.
The Need
Since the Directors started the company in 2004 they have seen some rapid growth and were keen to ensure that the new consultants joining the business had the right skills and support to deliver the best service for their customers. They wanted a training company who had the experience and skills to be able to work both with new consultants entering the industry for the first time and who could work with the Directors to develop their leadership skills and strategies.
The Solution
Focal Point created a number of modules focussing on sales and negotiation skills, which were run for new consultants at the beginning of the year and can be delivered each time new consultants join the business. We have also used coaching sessions to support the two directors as they plan the growth of their business. This flexible approach to learning has ensured that the sessions cover the areas of management and leadership that are most pertinent to the directors at the time.
