Aim

To use the opportunity to reflect on a number of key areas and identify ways to effectively manage the senior team.

Objectives

To achieve this aim the objectives of the day are to…

• identify the factors of a successful Team and the differences between a Team and a “group of people”
• ensure Team members have clarity on each others roles within the Senior Management Team and the organisation
• identify what Team members expect of one another and of themselves
• consider the way Team members like to perform their role
• consider the way people respond to change
• identify how each Team member fits into the Team’s “supply chain”
• identify any areas where the chain can be strengthened
• consider how Team members communicate within the team
• identify ways each Team member can support their colleagues

The day will be participative with a variety of facilitation aids used to cater for the different learning styles likely to be present in the group. Respecting the need for confidentiality delegates are invited to share their experiences and ask questions at any time.
